“At a dinner party one should eat wisely but not too well, and talk well but not too wisely.” – W. Somerset Maugham
Growing up and becoming an adult can lead us to discover some unwanted truths – bills (and laundry) pile up, floors don’t sweep themselves, Facebook isn’t real life, and taking your shoes off at the club at 1am just isn’t cute. BUT, you know what’s great about growing up? The expensive lipstick you’ve been eyeing that makes you look killer? Buy it and work it. A big, fat piece of cake at 10am on a Sunday? Done. Eating vegetables because you want to not because you have to? Delicious. Inviting friends over to party and not having to hide the evidence from your parents the next day? Jackpot!
In this blog, I am celebrating all the best parts about being an adult – the freedom to do and be who we want, while surrounded by those that raise us up. So let’s make the most of this life we have together! I do that by cooking, feeding, eating, and sharing. Come join in my adventures as I attempt to live life to the fullest!
